Veronica Descotte serves as our Chief Strategy Officer. Prior to joining Exact Sciences, Ms. Descotte spent 10 years with Medtronic in a variety of leadership roles. She most recently led the Strategy, Business Development, and Transformation functions for Medtronic’s Neuromodulation global business unit. She has previously served on Boards at PCs for People and currently with EOS International. Ms. Descotte spent the earlier days of her career at Burrill & Company, a venture capital firm, where she focused on investments across biotech, pharma, and diagnostics. Prior to that she did research in molecular genetics at the University of Minnesota. Ms. Descotte has a B.A. in Biology and Chemistry from Macalester College. She is finishing her Executive MBA at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business, where she received the 75th Anniversary Scholarship, awarded to the top incoming candidate.
