PreventionGenetics Awarded MACCI’s Firm of the Year

The Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MACCI) has recognized PreventionGenetics as the 2022 Firm of the Year. The Firm of the Year recognizes businesses that have proven to be leaders in economic development, involvement within the community, talent growth, and enriching the Marshfield area.

Founded in 2004 and located in Marshfield, Wis., PreventionGenetics is a DNA testing laboratory, providing more than 5,000 predefined genetic tests for nearly all clinically relevant genes. In January 2022, Exact Sciences acquired PreventionGenetics to accelerate availability of hereditary cancer testing for more patients. Given PreventionGenetics comprehensive genetic testing portfolio, it was a natural fit with Exact Sciences to help more patients know their germline risk of cancer and other disease.
