At Exact Sciences, we understand meaningful impact starts with listening to those who know their communities best. Through conversations with the Boys & Girls Club of Dane County, we learned about projects the organization could only complete with the help of donations and volunteers.

Repainting the gymnasium at their Allied Club location is one thing we could help cross off their to-do list. The beloved space is home to basketball games, a rock climbing wall, weekly food pantries, and other events.

Over three days in September, more than 40 Exact Sciences team members and four Exact Sciences Athletes worked to change the gym’s walls from bright yellow to a subtle gray.

“It’s a project we’ve wanted to complete for years but did not have the people or resources to complete,” Associate Vice President of Operations Jake Brown said. “Exact Sciences gave our facility a much-needed facelift that our staff, youth, and families can be proud of.”

The Boys & Girls Club of Dane County serves more than 7,500 young people across ten area locations, with the help of over 12,000 volunteers and donors each year. Exact Sciences is proud to support their work to create lasting change for our community.
