Partnering with purpose – Q1 2026 event recap

At Exact Sciences, we know the power of strong partnerships to drive meaningful change. Each quarter, we sponsor various events as part of our work to build thriving communities, advance access to earlier cancer detection, and create a more sustainable world. Here we highlight some of the events we supported in Q1 of 2026 and how these collaborations brought that vision to life.

University of Wisconsin Foundation Events
January-February I Madison, WI I University of Wisconsin Foundation

The 2026 Trivia Night with Andy North raised over $120,000 for innovative research at the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center. 21 Exact Sciences employees joined their colleague Nate Harrill, who serves as a member of the UW Carbone Emerging Leadership Board, for an evening of good-spirited competition and community building.

In February, the Hearts and Hands luncheon raised funds for Hope Begins Here, a UW Health campaign to expand the sixth floor of American Family Children’s Hospital. This project will allow the hospital to serve more families, including those from communities where our employees live and work. The program featured an unforgettable patient story that spotlighted the courage of children and the dedication of their care teams.

American Cancer Society’s Game Changer Gala

The Desert Dreams Game Changer Gala benefits the American Cancer Society’s mission to end cancer as we know it, for everyone. With a beautiful view of the Sonoran Desert, Exact Sciences employees joined community leaders to help the American Cancer Society provide patient support services and fund breakthrough research – in Arizona and beyond.

Shamrock Shuffle
March I Madison, WI I Boys & Girls Clubs of Dane County

The Shamrock Shuffle is an annual event that brings together thousands of people to support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dane County (BGCDC) in enabling all young people to reach their full potential. BGCDC uses the proceeds from this day of running, walking, and biking to support its programs and help build a healthier Dane County.

Screening Madness at Northwestern University

Screening Madness Day, hosted by Lurie Cancer Center and the Blue Hat Foundation, is an annual awareness campaign in Chicago during Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. This year’s event, Pins for Prevention, offers a fun evening of bowling and watching the NCAA basketball tournament while raising awareness about colorectal cancer screening.
