During the 2020 holiday season, Exact Sciences teams around the country organized supply drives and give-back opportunities to make the season bright for others.

In Phoenix, Sales team members used Volunteer Time Off (VTO) to spend time with Hands On Greater Phoenix. Each year, Hands On holds a holiday gift drive for youth in foster care. Sylvia Stein, Jeff Anderson, Tyler Johnson, Sean Beyer, Cyndi Fila, Rogan Murphy, Steve Kerr, Ryan Hooper, and Josh Knox all helped the Hands On team wrap these gifts in preparation for distribution.

In Madison, Wisconsin, Exact Sciences team members continued their annual “Mitten Tree” tradition. The trees located at three office locations were filled with mitten-shaped tags listing needed winter supplies, such as hats, mittens, and scarves. Employees took a tag and returned the item to the collection point in their office. This year’s donations went to Kennedy Heights Community Center. Kennedy Heights is a community support network for low to moderate-income families. It aims to increase access to social, educational, recreational, and cultural programs for children, youth, and adults.

Finally, Exact Sciences’ Madison employees also donated to their local Toys for Tots drive, filling up five bins with toys in time to be provided to children for the holidays.

The people of Exact Sciences are committed to fighting cancer and caring for the communities in which they work. All Exact Sciences employees receive 16 hours of VTO per year to commit to a community organization of their choosing at a time that works for their schedule.
