The Facilities Specialist is responsible for responding to the day to day operations of the laboratory facility. Facility and utility systems to be managed by the Facility Specialist include but are not limited to HVAC, general electrical, fire control system, humidifier, key card system, central vacuum system, laboratory water system, and general plumbing. The Facilities Specialist will establish appropriate maintenance, service, and work order procedures to meet company and regulatory requirements. The Facilities Specialist will perform repairs and preventative maintenance for facility related issues or coordinate these activities with outside vendors/contractors, as appropriate. The individual in this role will work directly with the contractors to ensure service activities are performed as scheduled.
