Exact Sciences Headquarters earns ENERGY STAR Certification

The United States Environmental Protection Agency awarded ENERGY STAR^® Certification to Exact Sciences’ Innovation One building at 5505 Endeavor Lane in Madison, Wisconsin, reflecting our efforts to create efficient, sustainable, and comfortable workplaces.

With an ENERGY STAR score of 83, the building is more energy efficient than 83% of similar facilities nationwide. The certification evaluates energy performance and factors like temperature, air quality, and lighting, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our team members.

Our Facilities Engineering team spearheaded the initiative and successfully managed every step of the certification process in-house. In contrast, many organizations outsource this work to third-party consultants. This recognition is a testament to their dedication and Exact Sciences’ broader emphasis on sustainability and employee well-being.

This milestone reminds us of the high standards we set for our existing facilities and future projects.
